Nothing says summertime like a bag lunch in a field full of flowers am I right? Come join us at Springhouse Farms for an afternoon of friends and flower bouquet picking!
The program starts at 11:00 am, with a walking tour of the greenhouses on the property. After that, the group will meet in the pavilion area for a seed-starting program where the owner, Amy Fielder, will walk us through the steps of how to grow your flowers from seed! Following the program, you will have the opportunity to pay a discounted price of $15 to pick your own bouquet from the flower fields (RSVP required and bucket and snips provided). You will be able to enjoy refreshments under the pavilion provided by hosts, Kathryne and Shirley, and any lunch you bring. Bring a friend, or a few, and come pick some beautiful flowers together!
Parking: Please carpool if possible and park along the right side of the road as you pull in. There is a sign that is marked “Guest Parking”, please pull forward as much as possible to allow for as much room for all the members.
Bring: a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses as the Pavillion is shaded but the tour and flower picking are in the sun!
Reminder- if you have donations to bring for the silent auction or gift basket we are making for the District Meeting please bring them with you to this program!
