The birds were singing, the sun was shining and 10 enthusiastic members of the garden club spent the morning weeding and planting at the memorial garden in the Blue Ridge Summit Library. Thanks girls for a job well done. Submitted by Diane

MISSION STATEMENT The object of this club is the cultivation of gardens, the stimulation and encouragement of conservation of our environment, and to participate in the beautification of the community. MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS The Blue Ridge Garden Club welcomes gardeners from Blue Ridge Summit, Cascade, Waynesboro and surrounding areas, Membership is open to all women. Our members love gardening, have very diverse interests and gardening experience, and enjoy many activities throughout the year. The program includes workshops, lectures and special trips. Generally, our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, April through December.
